  4. Patrick says:

good stuff, man. we need more!

  5. Greg Hensley says:

Sounds great. how would play that on a guitar?

    • Ben Brown says:

I don’t know, I never tried. I’ll give it a look, but I know where you could get a great deal on a ukulele!

    • charlotte says:

you could use the bottom four strings with a capo on the 5th fret. all you miss is the re-entrant tuning (the lowest string on a uke is an octave higher than it would be on a guitar)

  6. Tom Lanphar says:

Thanks Ben. Listening to the song and watching the video I kind of think Eddie is playing with low G tuning. What do you think?

    • Ben Brown says:

When I first heard it I also suspected such shenanigans, but according to the official transcription, he’s playing standard Tenor Uke tuning. Just goes to show what a true innovator can accomplish even inside the box. David Crosby does the same to me on guitar; I’ll hunt for a month to find what tuning he’s using only to discover it’s standard!

  7. Hey, Ben!

My name is Camila and I was wondering if you could help me. I play the flute and Im dying to find the notes for the vocals of Eddie’s Ukulele’s Songs. Do you know where I can find these sheets? I dont have a good ear to get them by myself. =/

    Thanx!

  8. Where are the tabs???? You are greaat Sir, but can I get the tabs please.
    Thank you.

  9. oh! thanks for this! i bought a uke a few days ago and am slowly working my way through eddie’s wonderful music..
if i listen carefully, i hear a slight variation in the strumming of the first chord. could it be that he’s doing that alternating bit there as well? (then it’s the first finger that releases instead of the little finger, but same string)
