Review: Fender Blues Junior guitar amplifier
Main reason I bought it was to have tube sound in that was easier to carry. I have a vintage Twin Reverb by Fender which is great, but For a while I was playing in a casuals band (weddings, and corporate parties) and never knew how far I’d have to haul my gear from the parking lot to the stage. I’ve tried solid state amps which tend to be lighter but they don’t have the tone or the punch of tubes.
It’s rated at 15 watts, but in that band I was accused of excessive stage volume several times, once by the drummer.
I love the tone, in fact I never fully appreciated the sound of my Strat’s single coil pickups until I played it through this amp.
